Feeling into Our Inner Knowing
Dear Ones,
Here in the Midwest of the USA, we enter the winter months, the dark incubation period of our cycles with nature. We are learning to feel the subtle energies of our animal nature, our intuition. We grew up learning about the five senses of our physical bodies: sight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing. However, our intuitive body and non-physical senses have been dormant, waiting patiently for us to remember. In reality, we have way more senses than we can imagine.
Many of us are increasingly awakening these abilities as we feel into our inner knowing and our bodies respond intelligently to the world around us. We may feel these senses in a chill, jump, tears, change in breath, warmth in our body's temperature, hairs standing up on our skin, and more. The body responses synced to inner authority…a knowing that guides us to become more embodied, enlightened beings.
This awareness supports us through the challenges we face during this time of great change. We have often referred to the saying "We are the ones we have been waiting for," with a variation of this being "I am the one that I have been waiting for."
Could this mean we return to a more whole and balanced state in our body, mind, and spirit? Here, we utilize our feminine and masculine traits as one healthy consciousness with life force energy. What if this dormant ability to use all of our senses (both physical and non-physical) is awakening to guide us as we move forward through these challenging times?
These non-physical senses can help us navigate our lives with integrity, truth, power, and, yes, unconditional love for the other as we move into a time when these abilities will support humanity as we dismantle the old patriarchal programming of trauma.
As we enter this time of going inward, we can utilize this time to nourish the remembrance of our animal natures and connection to the natural world as a guide to navigating the labor pains of the new earth. The promise of increasing daylight can be a powerful metaphor for hope, renewal, and the triumph of light over darkness.
Wishing you all blessed holidays.
Much Love,
Carley and John
